Join Arla's Global IT team as a Data and Analytics Platform Owner and play a key role in transforming the future of dairy products. You will join the Platforms function within IT Solutions as Data and Analytics Platform Owner, a new and exciting role that will give you the opportunity to shape and own the platform that supports our data and analytics capabilities. Your role is to ensure the stability, scalability, and success of the platform, meeting the needs of the business and enabling the delivery of innovative and bespoke cloud native solutions.

Your task is to prioritize and manage the roadmap and backlog for the platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals. You will also define and develop guardrails, processes and tools that enable developers to work most effectively on the platform. You will collaborate with technical teams, business users, and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure successful platform delivery. You will also stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics, making recommendations for platform enhancements or new capabilities.

How you will make an impact:

  • Take ownership of the Data and Analytics platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and overall success in meeting the needs of the business.
  • Prioritize and manage the roadmap and backlog for the Data and Analytics platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Define and develop guardrails, processes and tools that should be implemented on the platform that enable developers to work most effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, working closely with relevant teams to address any issues or concerns.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure successful platform delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business owners to understand their needs and requirements, translating them into actionable items for the platform.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to develop Data and Analytics platform specific product roadmaps.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics, making recommendations for platform enhancements or new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to leverage their expertise and capabilities for platform development and maintenance.

What will make you successful:

  • Experience with cloud platforms and technologies, preferably Azure.
  • Experience with working with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality practices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Continuous learning mindset, with a curiosity for exploring new technologies and industry trends.
