Indirect Procurement is expected to significantly boost our EBITDA growth targets over the next two years. The Procurement Office Lead will play a key role in executing strategic initiatives and representing the VP of Procurement to senior executives and customers, aiming to transform our Indirect Procurement efforts into substantial savings.

This executive position will provide insights into the future direction of procurement and promote strong relationships within the organization while driving improvements in processes, efficiency, and communication, across the entire Procurement organization.

Key responsibilities include
  • Supporting savings-oriented strategic plans in alignment with corporate objectives, focusing on the Indirect Procurement categories.
  • Enhancing productivity within the Procurement organization, especially regarding meetings, processes, and reporting.
  • Driving key projects and strategic initiatives to ensure successful implementation and closure.
  • Managing change initiatives and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing for weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings, equipping the Procurement Leadership team and ExCom with insightful materials.
  • Creating impactful presentations to convey complex financial information and strategic goals to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating across Procurement to update dashboards and scorecards for key performance indicators related to major sourcing projects.
  • Tracking and communicating high-priority savings initiatives and identifying associated risks.
  • Building and managing essential cross-departmental relationships to support the VP Procurement in executing priorities.
  • Following and monitoring macro and trade trends, working with the procurement leadership team to evaluate impact, contingency plans, and opportunities.
What you bring

This role requires a versatile individual who can balance multiple responsibilities, an integrator connecting work streams across the enterprise, a communicator between the procurement team and the broader organization, and an organizer and narrative-teller who provides the VP Procurement and ExCom with a clear perspective on procurement progress.

Experience

  • Business Analysis experience identifying business needs and determining solutions.
  • Requires project management skills acquired in consulting.
  • +6 years of experience with demonstrated knowledge and skill in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain management, leadership, teamwork, collaboration, problem solving and communication.
  • Proven track record of developing, supporting, and implementing transformation projects that drive cost savings and process improvements.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration across diverse roles.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing small to medium-sized teams or departments at different career levels.
  • Strong business acumen, allowing for sound judgment and quick decision-making.
  • The ability to anticipate issues and direct them to the appropriate resolution.
  • Effective organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
