Role overview:We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Area Sales Manager with maritime and technical insight to join our dynamic team.
The role involves managing and expanding our sales activities across a defined geographic area, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within your assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including shipowners, shipyards, and technical managers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Provide technical expertise and advice to clients regarding lubrication solutions.
- Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless delivery of solutions.
- Represent HJ Lubricators at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Report regularly on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the maritime or technical sectors.
- Strong understanding of lubrication systems, maritime equipment, or related technical products.
- Ability to travel extensively (50-60 days per year) within the assigned area.
- EU work permits are mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to understand complex systems.
