Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Viaplay Group Full time

At Viaplay Group, we entertain millions of people every day through our streaming services, radio networks, and TV channels. We believe in the power of content not just as a way of telling stories and touching lives, but also expanding worlds.

We're looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we're searching for a Content Acquisition Project Manager in our Stockholm office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?

The role
As Content Acquisition Project Manager, you will be part of the Content Acquisition team, responsible for acquiring content across all Viaplay markets. The team sits within our Central Content division, which oversees deal negotiations, proactively identifies new content opportunities, defines content strategy, manages rights, and plans title launches—all to build the best possible offering for our users.

In this role, you will lead and work on projects from start to finish together with multiple stakeholders, to maximize the value of Viaplay's content investments. In addition, you will support broader Central Content initiatives and be responsible for negotiating smaller content deals independently. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in content valuation and develop an understanding for underlying mechanics and budgeting of acquired content.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop business cases, presentations, and supporting materials for investment decisions
  • Conduct profitability estimates and analyses for acquisition deals
  • Perform performance analyses of content investments to assess ROI
  • Extract and analyze data to support decision-making
  • Track, follow-up, and maintain a clear overview of current deal commitments
  • Be a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, such as distributors
  • Support in various content-related projects and analyses
  • Negotiate small to mid-range content deals with distributors

What we're looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that's why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you'll have at least some experience in the following:

We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You have experience with financial estimates, building business cases, and project management, ideally from a management consulting or other relevant background. You are a fast learner, skilled at balancing multiple projects and deadlines, and motivated by data-driven decision-making.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in project management, management consulting, or similar
  • A super user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to work with budgets and revenue projections
  • Thrives in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities
  • Motivated by working towards targets and KPIs
  • Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language

What we offer you
We've got you covered 30 days of paid vacation every year, an attractive pension and insurance scheme, and generous parental leave pay lift.

Your wellbeing matters. We provide you with various wellbeing initiatives including wellness allowance.

A safe space to grow and up-skill. Our learning culture puts you in the driver's seat of your own development.

Entertainment is what we love, and entertainment is what we do . So, unlimited access to Viaplay seems only fair for you to get to know the product – including series & viewing events, new release movie rentals, linear channels and more.

Hit play today
If this feels like your kind of challenge, make sure you apply by attaching your CV here – you may also want to add your LinkedIn profile.
