At Bang & Olufsen, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our team and develop the future of our Company Owned Company Operated (CoCo) Stores operations.

As the Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for enabling data-driven decisions that optimize profits and ensure consistency across all our CoCo stores, supporting our strategic focus on expanding global retail presence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and monitor effective and streamlined financial processes across all CoCo stores.
  • Assist in implementing internal controls and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for our CoCo stores.
  • Handle the flow of data to ensure a solid foundation for business decisions.
  • Serve as a sparring partner to the Global Head of CoCo Stores, Store Managers, and Business Controllers.
  • Develop and maintain value-added financial reporting for management and store teams, in collaboration with other departments.
  • Participate in IT transformation projects, including the setup of our point-of-sale system.
  • Support new store openings, ensuring the correct setup from a finance and IT perspective.

What you bring:

We are looking for someone with solid financial reporting experience and an interest in process optimization. You should have experience in a similar controller position with a focus on retail, as well as the ability to work with data flows to support key business decisions.

Moreover, you bring:

  • Experience in financial reporting and understanding of financial data flows.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Experience with process optimization and internal controls.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • An engaged approach and the ability to voice opinions.
  • Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with IT transformation and point-of-sale systems is valuable.

What we offer:

You will join the Financial Controlling & Consolidation team of 9 dedicated colleagues located in 4 different places in Europe. You will work closely with the Financial controllers and Finance Excellence teams, reporting to the Director of Financial Controlling & Consolidation.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.
Location: Lyngby or Struer, Denmark.
Travel: Approx. 30 days per year.
