Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our development team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our existing SaaS application, supporting migration projects, and contributing to future development initiatives. You will work with .NET technologies and Azure Cloud to create scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services for our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services for our existing SaaS platform.
  • Work on migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and integrations to newer architectures or cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality features and solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and performant APIs and backend systems.
  • Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to the technical roadmap of the platform.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, sharing your expertise in .NET development and Azure Cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, etc.).
  • Solid experience working with Azure Cloud, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native development, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with designing and building scalable, secure, and performant APIs and backend services.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) and database design.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React) and full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of best practices in cloud security and performance optimization.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS environment.
