Software Tester

We are looking for a software tester for an exciting and technically demanding position in our R&D Software department. You will be based onsite at our headquarters in Hillerød, Denmark, and be part of our R&D Lab SW team. If you are up for the challenge, please see more details below.

The job
The Lab SW team delivers high-quality, state-of-the-art software solutions for measurement instruments. The work is challenging but fun and requires collaboration between different groups of people. You will work closely with our software developers and software product owners. We value cooperation and take pride in our good team spirit, always focusing on how we can best help each other deliver high-quality software solutions.

Primary task
As a software tester, you will join a development team and help us with quality assurance of our software solutions. Your primary tasks will include:

• Developing and updating test cases (writing test cases based on feature descriptions in Azure DevOps)
• Testing the software (manual test execution on simulators and instruments)
• Finding and documenting bugs (in Microsoft Azure DevOps)
• Verifying bug fixes
• Planning, executing, and documenting system test activities (writing test plans, test reports, reporting progress on test activities)
• Evaluating software quality
• Participating in test improvement activities

Qualifications
To fulfill this role, we expect you to have experience with:

• Software QA and testing
• Being independent and taking necessary actions to complete your tasks
• Working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)

It would be considered an advantage if you are an ISEB or ISTQB certified software tester or have previous experience with:

• Testing analytical instruments
• Working in a laboratory

Personal skills
You bring energy and a positive attitude to our team. You have good analytical skills and a methodical approach to software testing, with a flair for finding possibilities and the courage to flag problem areas. You are self-driven, structured, and value delivering high quality.

You have strong communication skills enabling you to work smoothly in an international setting with colleagues from near and far. We expect you to be fluent in English and proficient in Danish. People enjoy working with you due to your positive mindset and constructive approach, even when challenged under tight deadlines.

Lastly, it is a requirement that you have a valid Danish work permit.
