Now entering a dynamic growth phase, the company is seeking a purpose-driven CFO to join its leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to help scale a values-led organization that's redefining food from the ground up.

The Role

As the Chief Financial Officer , you'll be a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, guiding them through the next funding rounds and building the financial backbone of the company. You'll help shape the financial strategy, oversee day-to-day financial operations, and lead investor relations—all while keeping the mission at the core.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in purpose-led environments, is passionate about food innovation, and brings strong experience in fundraising and scaling companies from Series A and beyond.

What You'll Do

  1. Lead Financial Strategy : Drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking in alignment with business goals.
  2. Own Fundraising : Lead equity and non-dilutive fundraising efforts. You'll be at the forefront of our Series A and beyond.
  3. Investor Relations : Cultivate relationships with impact investors, VCs, and partners who align with our values.
  4. Build & Lead Finance Ops : Oversee budgeting, accounting, and compliance. Set up scalable systems to support growth.
  5. Be a Strategic Partner : Support company-wide strategic decisions with financial insight and scenario planning.
  6. Contribute to Culture : Help foster an inclusive, values-driven workplace where innovation and collaboration thrive.

About You

  1. You've led or been closely involved in Series A–C fundraising , ideally in a startup or scale-up environment.
  2. You have 7+ years of experience in finance, with a track record of financial leadership.
  3. Background in food, biotech, fermentation, or FMCG is a strong advantage.
  4. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset —you're comfortable with ambiguity, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  5. You're an inclusive leader who communicates clearly and empowers others.
  6. Passionate about sustainability, health, and the future of food.
  7. Danish is a plus but not required; fluency in English is essential.
