Real estate and the urban environment have a profound impact on all of us. We spend 90% of our lives inside buildings. The built environment accounts for 39% of global CO2 emissions. Housing is the biggest living expense for most people. And nowhere is growing inequality more visible than in how we live.

Home.Earth is a real estate company founded in 2021 to chart a path toward more environmentally and socially sustainable urban development. Our first development project, 158 homes in Høje Taastrup, is on track to achieve the lowest carbon footprint for a multi-story residential building in Denmark, and next year we will launch a novel tenant concept where we share property profits and value gains with our tenants while not requiring deposits.

We are a team of 20 people split across offices in Copenhagen and The Hague, bringing experience from real estate investing, architecture, sustainability, engineering, social movements, and much more. You will join us at our main office in Copenhagen.

We are looking for a person to lead and enhance our work within Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations. In the next stage of our scale-up journey, it becomes critical for us to articulate our mission and convey our solutions in a compelling way to customers and various other stakeholders. We seek a person to lead and guide this work, establishing Home.Earth as a distinct brand.

We do not place much emphasis on job titles and have established Home.Earth as a Holacracy. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our work in the domain of communications and marketing. In your daily work, you will interact with large parts of the organization, from working with our Property Operations team on developing our customer/tenant communications to working with our Founder on our overall storytelling and brand.

You will lead and be responsible for our external communications and marketing, which includes:

• Develop a marketing and communication strategy that aligns with Home.Earth's mission and objectives.
• Provide strategic guidance and prioritize marketing and communication efforts.
• Craft and manage compelling content for various channels including website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and more.
• Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets and other key stakeholders to enhance our brand presence.
• Monitor and analyze marketing and communication metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.

We are open to candidates with various backgrounds, but look for elements such as:

• At least 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communication strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.
• Ability to work both strategically and with execution.
• Commercial mindset with focus on delivering business outcomes.
• Experience in working closely with senior management and guiding marketing and communication efforts at a strategic level.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
