Who we’re looking for

As a Senior Cost Estimator at Topsoe, you will play a crucial role in preparing competitive cost estimates of our proprietary hardware, as well as supply of total installed cost estimates for proposals & studies - having a direct impact on our bottom-line. To do so, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across Topsoe, including licensing managers, business development managers, proposal segment managers, project directors, project managers, product managers, process engineers, mechanical engineers, among many others. Additionally, you will act as a very qualified advisor assisting the decision-making process for management and take ownership of several processes and tools to ensure continuous improvement in cost estimation work.

  • Ability to contribute to early study cost estimation and FEED estimating.
  • Drive the development of cost-effective processes and products.
  • Support the development of tools and methods for cost estimation.
  • Thorough understanding of the scope of work, contract, schedule, project execution, local conditions, construction execution, and financing scheme of a specific proposal.


What you’ll bring

  • Ideally, around 10 years of relevant mechanical/process/cost estimating/cost engineering, or similar.
  • All discipline understanding with a wider understanding of the outcome.
  • Proactive, the senior cost estimator will be comfortable working in an environment where the data isn’t always available.
  • Good communication and coaching skills.
  • Motivated by knowledge-sharing and innovation.
  • Flexible, willing to improve the way we work and innovate.
  • Efficient and structured.
  • Good skills in verbal and written English.
