The position is a parental leave cover for 12 months and via an external agency.

As the Nordic Product Brand Manager for Maybelline NY, the #1 Makeup brand in the world, you will manage the eye Category & our brand cause Brave together. Your role is to build the yearly strategy on the category and the brand cause, together with the relevant internal stakeholders and our NGOs. With a deep makeup category understanding, you will drive the eye category performance and be at the heart of the product launch process & Nordic portfolio. You will manage the media activations and campaign implementation, leveraging consumer insights to ensure Nordic relevancy. The role reports to the Nordic Senior Brand manager for Maybelline New York.

You will..

  • Manage the strategy of your category to drive sell-out & gain market share across Nordics
  • Select, size and animate the product on your category ensuring Nordic relevancy
  • Create & own brand price architecture (index vs. market & between brand portfolio)
  • Build the vision of each campaign/launch (based on consumer insights) and be the project leader internally & externally
  • Own the paid media strategy and execution for your category, with an ROI mindset
  • Develop locally relevant campaigns in close relationship with creative, digital & media agencies and manage the media & production budget
  • Own the product expression on the category across all touchpoints: media, in-store, online
  • Analyze and prepare sell-out analysis at period level to share internally and externally
  • Monitor market activities including Media & product launches
  • Monitor social listening to understand and act on the latest consumer trends
  • Be accountable for enthusing the business about the products for your category and develop a strong selling story to support trade presentations
  • Be the voice of the Nordic markets for your category to headquarters

Your profile...

  • You have experience from a similar role (+2y), preferably from the FMCG industry
  • You have a relevant degree within Marketing, Branding, Communication, Business or similar
  • You are obsessed with consumer insights and analyzing data
  • You are passionate about makeup and regularly follow beauty trends in social media
  • You have excellent communication skills and feel confident in presenting
  • You are collaborative and value a good team spirit
  • You are an experienced Excel and PowerPoint user
  • You are detail-oriented and organized in your daily work
  • You thrive in a complex matrix structure, and are a pro-active team member
  • You are fluent in English and preferably a Nordic language

We are looking for our new Nordic Product Brand Manager to start in February 2025. The employment is a parental leave cover for 12 months via an external agency.
