The position
As a Director at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Develop and implement Global SC&BD Quality & Compliance Strategy.
  • Manage organizational design and development for Quality & Compliance.
  • Oversee audit/inspection activities and ensure audit readiness.
  • Ensure robust Business Continuity Plans and consolidate top Risks.
  • Lead Global Transport Qualifications and Validations.
  • Drive digitalization of key processes and maintain validated transport solutions.
  • Manage department budget and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Lead and coach leaders and specialists, promoting employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party providers.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

Need to have:

  • Academic degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Distribution/Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with GDP or similar regulated areas.
  • Experience within project and/or LEAN management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within people management.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to set direction and drive engagement.

Nice to have:

  • Deep knowledge of the Novo Nordisk organization and business.
  • Experience with vendor relation management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the department
Global Logistics & Distribution is a central function in the Supply Chain organization in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional Supply Chain systems and processes. We drive and design the global logistics solutions enabling PS supply chain to deliver now and in the future - Together for the patients.

We are approximately 80 employees in Bagsværd, Denmark, and 15 in Bangalore, India. The department is responsible for the global logistics and distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, including 3PLs. We focus on delivering high service while balancing the environmental footprint with fiscal impact. Our team oversees regulatory and quality requirements related to pharmaceutical distribution, managing distribution costs, and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
