Job Description

As an Associate Engineer in our team, you will help us deliver high quality, working software on a continuous basis.

You will be joining a diverse product team, Service Management, providing digital solutions to incident management.

The engineers within the area are organized as DevOps teams and are end-to-end responsible for architecture, configuration, coding, and full-stack development.

No relocation is offered for this position

Core Responsibilities
  • Design, build and/or configure end-to-end applications through close collaboration with other product team members.

  • Work with new technologies like Cloud solutions in Azure Cloud and AWS.

  • Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following LEGO Group security and data privacy principles from ideation to production release and beyond.

  • Engineer products that implement business logic, modern design patterns and architectural principles.

  • Engineer products that follow highest coding standards e.g., documentation and efficiency.

  • Ensure product robustness and reliability by writing and executing unit and integration tests.

  • Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks.

  • Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas/opinions.

  • Eager to learn the newest technologies such as generative AI, Chatbots and machine learning.

Do you have what it takes?
  • A junior/graduate software engineer with a foundational background in full-stack, backend, or infrastructure development. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a dynamic team environment.

  • TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js or similar programming languages and feel comfortable adapting depending on how to create the best and most valuable solutions.

  • Technical expertise within Cloud development, microservices, integrations/API development, CI/CD.

  • You are the standout colleague that embraces diversity and enjoys a flexible and inspiring environment.

  • You have the right combination of technical, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge in Service Management solutions will be a huge advantage.

  • Knowledge in AI Chatbot solutions will be a huge advantage.

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
