Global Sales and Customer Service is comprised of over 1,300 sales and customer service professionals serving customers across banking, insurance, asset management, corporate, professional services and government sectors across over 50 countries.

The Role / Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of large clients in the corporate segment. The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. This position will manage a book of business within the Nordic and Baltic region and will have the opportunity to up and cross-sell Moody's products as well as introduce new and expanded solutions. In collaboration with internal partners such as Domain Sales, Solutions Specialists, and Customer Success Manager, the Relationship Manager leads sales cycles for holistic solutions and complimentary services. The learning curve will be steep and you will have a lot of responsibility from day one whilst being supported by manager and helpful colleagues. The Moody's sales force has an inclusive, team-oriented sales culture that values both collaboration and results. You will be working in a competitive environment but in a supportive and friendly team. The person will be based either in Copenhagen or Stockholm, our offices are centrally located.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage full lifecycle sales process which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging off existing client relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiations.
  2. Illustrate a deep understanding of client decision-making approach, priorities, and requirements.
  3. Manage sales cycles and involve Domain Sales specialists, Solution Specialists, and Industry Practice Leads where appropriate.
  4. Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management.
  5. Meet established revenue targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  6. Generate new revenue from research, product and service solutions and defending & growing existing revenue streams.
  7. Represent company at industry and company sponsored events, as required.
  8. This position requires occasional traveling.
Qualifications & Attributes:
  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. A Moody's employee at this level would typically have more than 10 years' experience.
  3. Preferably experience selling into large corporates or other complex solution selling.
  4. Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach.
  5. Ability to influence key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process.
  6. Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.
  7. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  8. Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  9. Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines.
  10. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
