How to contribute to our vision

For our Operational Excellence Digital Transformation team in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, we are looking for a motivated Student Worker to support our Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives. As part of our team, you will focus on developing, delivering, and maintaining Power BI reporting to help optimize operations in our Aalborg factory.

The duration of this role will be a minimum of 18 months.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into BI solutions.
3. Ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data used in reporting.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure smooth operation.
5. Assist in the documentation of BI tools, dashboards, and workflows.
6. Perform ad hoc tasks as needed to support the team.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for someone who is currently enrolled at the university (Bachelor or Master’s) in Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science (or similar).

To be successful in this role, you need to be:

1. Proficient in Power BI and have a solid understanding of data visualization principles.
2. Knowledge of data modeling concepts is a strong advantage.
3. Experience with data analysis and ability to interpret data to derive insights.
4. A structured approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
6. Fluent in Danish.
7. Advanced English skills, both orally and in writing.

Be aware that we are looking for a candidate who can attend the office in Aalborg a minimum of 2 times a week.
