Roles and Responsibilities
You will be part of hummel's core business – TEAMSPORT. With a mixed team of product developers, designers, and garment techs, they are all dedicated team players with lots of energy, good humor, and a strong team spirit. Our success criteria are business acumen, quality, and delivery reliability, and we are motivated by achieving the best results.

As our only Senior Buyer on Teamsport, you will play a key role towards both our suppliers and the rest of the team. Your primary tasks will include building close supplier relationships, managing capacity and forecasts, obtaining and managing production follow-up from selected suppliers, and negotiating NOOS prices. Other tasks include:

• Handling and preparing purchase orders in Navision, order confirmations, and follow-up to ensure delivery of goods.
• Communication and negotiation with suppliers regarding delays, production issues, and claims.
• Collaborating with both suppliers and garment tech to ensure a smooth production process.
• Document management.

Expected travel activity of approximately 30 days per year.

Our New Team Player
We imagine our new colleague is strong in building relationships and has an analytical mindset and good numerical understanding. It is expected that you are proactive, structured, and solution-oriented. We prefer if you have experience working across different cultures, as this will be a great advantage in the job. Additionally, we value that you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in textile production.
• Strong negotiation skills and business understanding.
• You are already a Senior Buyer or an established Buyer ready for the next step up.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Navision.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, as well as a natural interest in building close relationships with our suppliers both nationally and internationally.
