We are growing our Defence Services organisation to align with the significant business potential we see in both existing and new markets. By accelerating and enhancing our recruitment efforts and ensuring we have the right competencies available when needed, we aim to respond swiftly to changes and meet customer demands effectively.
In this newly established role, you will be part of the Defence Services organisation and report directly to the VP for Defence Services. You will be part of the management team and play a key role in delivering on our main strategic challenges: staffing and recruitment.
Be part of the Defence Services management team in this newly established high-impact role
As Staffing Manager, your responsibilities will include identifying staffing needs, supporting recruitment efforts, and workforce planning for Defence Services. In close cooperation with People & Culture, you will ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues, develop and execute training plans as well as competence development of Defence Services staff. Additionally, you will focus on coordinating team capacity to meet business needs efficiently, including staffing for bids and projects.
Your primary tasks:
- Identify staffing needs across the organisation, collaborate with hiring managers and P&C to prioritize and support recruitment efforts based on business-critical tasks.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date onboarding plans for new colleagues, ensuring timely and smooth onboarding.
- Collaborate with P&C to develop competence and training plans, ensuring successful execution of training programs and driving the uplift of competencies across the Defence Services organisation.
- Oversee and coordinate tasks across the organisation based on business criticality, ensuring efficient mobility between teams and locations.
- Ensure that staffing plans for ongoing and upcoming bids and projects are aligned with overall capacity and business goals.
Experienced recruitment leader, commercial expertise, drive for continuous improvement
With several years of experience in recruitment, staffing, and strategic workforce planning, you bring a deep understanding of how talent drives business success. Your expertise could extend beyond the HR function, and it is an advantage if you have experience as a hiring manager yourself, which means that you understand both the HR and commercial aspects of an organisation.
We are also looking for:
- Strong stakeholder management skills ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
- Commercial acumen that enables you to align hiring strategies with business objectives.
- Improvement mindset, focused on streamlining processes and removing roadblocks.
- Independent, decisive, and organised work style.
Additionally, we expect that you have good English skills and a relevant bachelor’s degree in HR, Communication, Management, or similar. This role requires an expected 20-30 travel days per year. Work location is Aarhus, Denmark.
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
