The job as a TraderAs a Trader, you will play a vital role in our trading team being responsible for trading and ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly. You'll take part in the development and execution of trading strategies and the continuous analysis of market trends to identify profitable opportunities. You will be responsible for monitoring real-time data, making quick decisions, and collaborating with our senior traders to ensure that we seize the right market opportunities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the energy trading industry.
We do not expect you to have experience in energy trading, but you should have a deep desire to learn and find trading interesting. If you have grit and hunger, we promise tailored training from some of the industy's best traders and guarantee a fun work environment, a steep learning curve, and a unique career opportunity within intraday trading.
You will be a part of the same shift rotation as our current traders to keep our trading engine running 24/7 365 days a year. From Aarhus, we mostly work day shifts as our Austin office covers most evening shifts and Singapore office most night shifts.
Your key responsibilities- Covering a full-time position as part of the shift schedule mentioned above
- Daily trading and optimization of trading positions
- Develop and help implement trading strategies
- Continuous risk evaluation of trader and algo positions
- Always question status quo
- Share insights to optimize and rethink trading tools
- You have an AP, bachelor's, or master's degree in Economics and Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Finance and International Business, Economics, Mathematics-Economics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- Have 0-2 years of experience as an energy trader
- Driven by results and immediate feedback from colleagues and the market
- An interest in financial markets, stock trading, and of course the energy markets
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment with the next deadline always coming up
- The ability and interest to learn about complex systems and methods – quickly
- A positive and competitive person with grit and at the same time, a great team player
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English
