Junior Analyst (student), Finance & Operations

Our Team
The Finance team is part of Finance & Operations that encompasses Finance, Valuation & Performance, Legal, Strategy Office, IT & Facility. Within the Finance team, you will join the Accounting team, together with six colleagues, including two other Junior Analysts. The Accounting team is responsible for all services, processes and systems related to accounting for Novo Holdings, the Novo Nordisk Foundation as well as +30 other group entities. You will be a part of a highly experienced and motivated team and work together with colleagues who respect and appreciate each other.

The Job
As part of the Junior Analyst team, your daily tasks and responsibilities will mainly be bookkeeping, reimbursement of expenses and monitoring and maintenance of accounts payables and accounts receivables. You will also participate in the preparation of bank reconciliations, month-end closing processes and various ad hoc tasks.

Our Junior Analysts play an important role in the department and you can expect to have your own areas of responsibility as well as participating in developing and documenting work areas within the department.

The working hours are approximately 15-20 hours per week with flexibility in relation to your studies.

Our working environment is very dynamic and diverse, with plenty of daily complex financial tasks that involve our stakeholders in Novo Holdings as well as in the Novo Nordisk Foundation,. Partnering up with our stakeholders across the organisation is key to managing the tasks in a professional and proactive way.

Professional and Personal Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has strong commercial understanding and a passion for finance. Furthermore, you are:

  • Studying for a BSc in Economics and Business Administration (HA Almen) at Copenhagen Business School or similar
  • Experienced, or interested within accounting
  • A super user of Excel and have strong IT skills
  • Fluent in Danish and English at a professional level, both written and oral
  • Experienced with Microsoft D365BC; this will be an advantage
