København, Denmark The HubDanske Bank Full time

Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.

Growing as fast as we do in Veo means that every day is different, exciting, and challenging, both on the front line and in the back office.

But that’s not the most remarkable thing about us. The coolest thing is our people. We’ve attracted some of the brightest minds in the industry. They are the reason we can create a great product and do it while enjoying ourselves.

We are searching for a Legal and Compliance Manager to spearhead Veo’s compliance efforts and provide legal assistance for our company. You will work closely with the Legal Team to support various departments across Veo, focusing on taking ownership of compliance-related projects. As our compliance function is still being established, this is a unique opportunity for you to impact Veo as we grow significantly.

Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee sanctions & export control regimes as part of our market expansion.
  • Review, update, and monitor the company’s risk assessment together with other key Veo departments, including implementing and mitigating risk measures.
  • Oversee the company’s insurance program.
  • Draft and implement compliance policies and guidelines, including ongoing review and update.
  • Develop and implement relevant compliance projects with other key stakeholders, including ongoing monitoring of such projects.
  • Conduct training sessions for colleagues across Veo on compliance topics.
  • Provide legal support to Veo’s departments in various legal areas, particularly on AI and GDPR-related matters.
  • Communicate with and manage third parties, especially external counsels.

Your qualifications:
  • Graduate with a master's degree in law or business law from one of the Nordic countries.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a compliance role is required, and additional expertise in areas such as sanctions, compliance, risk management, and GDPR is considered beneficial.
  • Established experience with effective management and implementation of projects within legal compliance.
  • Comprehensive business understanding with an interest in developing solutions that align with business needs, including automation and digitalization.
  • Experience in advising and supporting colleagues across departments, considering the company’s strategy and risk profile.
  • A collaborative individual who excels in embracing a variety of responsibilities and overcoming obstacles.
  • Effective proficiency in English, encompassing oral and written communication.

At Veo, the Legal Team is part of the finance team, and you will report to the Head of Legal. We offer an informal working environment where individual contributions are highly valued. We prioritize continuously advancing our team member’s personal and professional skills by providing a work setting that adapts to varying workloads.

Contact Peter Kristiansen 20357520 if you have any questions.

At Veo, you'll be part of a thriving work environment where every day brings new excitement. Our rapid growth ensures a diverse and ever-changing atmosphere. We believe in work-life balance and providing a positive culture that allows you to thrive personally and professionally.

Our Copenhagen office mirrors our innovative technology – with an indoor ball court, rooftop terrace, and well-equipped gym. We have created a facility that supports connecting disciplines across the business, facilitates creative thinking, and gives the space to engage with colleagues, our global partners, and the entire Veo community.

Diversity and differences are valuable assets for us. We value diversity and inclusion and welcome people from all backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we still encourage you to apply.

We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. And you may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Still interested? Join us at Veo and become a part of a team that delivers greatness and has a great time doing it.

We will invite for interviews continuously, so apply with LinkedIn or your resume as soon as possible.
