  • To design and execute single cell and high-dimensional flow cytometry experiments.
  • To assess behavior in allergic asthma in vivo models.
  • To maintain genetically modified in vivo models.
  • To perform independent research and to publish findings of high international quality.
  • To contribute to student supervision and collaborative projects.
  • To present findings at scientific conferences and in scientific publications.

The project is funded by an LF experiment grant from the Lundbeck Foundation and will be supervised by Assistant Professor Anna Hammerich Thysen.

Your competences

  • A flair for computational analysis of larger data sets.
  • A curious mind and an enthusiasm for science.
  • An interest in developing new experimental procedures.
  • A pro-active and problem-solving approach to science.
  • An ability to drive independent research projects.
  • A willingness to positively interact and collaborate with colleagues.
  • A persistence to work on challenging tasks.
  • A track-record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.

You are not expected to enter with a full range of technical skills but experience with the following tasks is a plus:

  • Imaging and/or histology.
  • In vivo models of airway or allergic diseases.
  • Assessment of animal behavior.
  • Primary immune cell isolation and culture.
  • qPCR.
  • ELISA.
  • Genotyping.

About the research group
