Master Data Governance Manager, Supply Chain Finance - Aarhus

How you will make an impact

As a Master Data Governance Manager, you will be part of the Supply Chain Costing and Master Data team, playing an essential role in supporting Arla and especially Supply Chain with delivering on the master data agenda. You will have the opportunity to impact the future in a global organisation and participate in various projects driven by business stakeholders across both countries and departments.

To succeed in this job, you will need to take on various responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of our master data governance strategy. Key duties include:

  • Enhancing and implementing the master data governance strategy to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Anchoring strategic objectives at the operational levels within the organization.
  • Leading or supporting data forums across selected data domains.
  • Leading cross-functional efforts to identify critical data within these domains.
  • Developing roadmaps and processes to improve data quality for selected datasets.
  • Facilitating data governance meetings and workshops.
  • Providing training and support to stakeholders on best practices in data governance.
  • Assisting in the development of tools and reports to enhance the quality and visibility of master data.

What will make you successful

As our Master Data Governance Manager, you are passionate about master data and the possibilities it brings once you have proper governance in place – and you know how to communicate these opportunities. You need to have strong knowledge of the Material and Supplier master data area on an operational and tactical level, in combination with strong analytical and project management skills. You should be able to maintain a holistic view while managing detailed complexities. Further, we expect that you have:

  • Over 4 years of experience in the Master Data area or a related Supply Chain field.
  • Practical experience with the implementation of master data processes and change management in general.
  • Proficiency in English at a negotiation level.
  • Knowledge of either MDM processes or SAP MD is an advantage.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge on how to handle large amounts of data, transforming them into comprehensible reports and drawing conclusions through data aggregation, consolidation, and analysis.
  • Basic project management skills for handling small to medium projects, with the ability to support larger projects.
