Digital Solutions & Development > Digital Solutions > Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle
Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle is a part of Digital Solutions, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. PTC Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within PLM-suite of PTC. You will engage in a distributed team following SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy.
Responsibilities
- Explore Windchill and Creo functionalities to achieve an efficient Overloaded & Configurable BoM
- Propose new ways of organizing our product, having in mind the upstream and downstream needs/constraints
- Create Demos to highlight the applicability of different Windchill features to meet our goals
- Re-think Vestas data model and BoM management
- Creating required documentation (procedures, guidelines, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or System Engineering or similar with 10+ years of work experience (e.g., Wind Energy, Automotive and Aerospace preferred)
- Good understanding of PLM discipline
- Experience with modular product development, product structure & architecture tools
- Solid experience with BOM management
- End to end understanding about ECM (Engineering Change Management)
- Solid experience in ERP software (SAP), PLM software, PTC Windchill preferred
- Solid experience with Parametric Design using CAD software, Creo Parametric preferred
