You will be working in our Engineering Building team, which is part of Engineering Europe. Your team consists of 8 other highly skilled colleagues who will ensure you are onboarded effectively and receive the support needed to succeed in Novonesis.
In this role you’ll make an impact by...
Acting as Project Manager or sub-project manager for building-related projects on our production facilities, labs, offices, site infrastructure, warehouse, etc. Your projects will range from minor to medium scale, and you will handle them from conceptual design to handover, which will take up 90% of your daily work. You will also support our engineering teams in America, Europe, and Asia with design, specifications, and reviews of project material.
Additionally, you will ensure that knowledge and best practices of building and utilities projects relevant for Novonesis are anchored within Engineering, while staying updated on new knowledge and developing new standards within Engineering Building.
To succeed you must hold...
- Education as Engineer, Architect, Architectural design, and construction management (Bygningskonstruktør) or similar.
- Min. 2 years of experience developing and designing buildings within the bioscience industry.
- Min. 2 years of experience in Project Management.
- Ability to work independently and structured, take initiative, and interact with stakeholders across the organization.
- Experience in all levels of the building phase, from CD, BD, DD to tenders and agreements with suppliers, construction phase, to moving in and follow-up.
- Good understanding of a customer’s mindset. Previous experience as a client is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Good understanding of logistics and flows, building materials, building physics, and contractual/legal relations with consultants and suppliers within AB / ABR system.
- Basic knowledge of structural, utility, HVAC, and electrical disciplines.
- Good communication skills with fluency in Danish and English, spoken and written. German is a plus.
Finally, experience working globally is an advantage but not a requirement, and you must be able to travel from 5 to 15 days per year.
