STERISAFE ApS is a successful health-tech company with high ambitions to lead the revolution in upgrading the environmental hygiene methods in the healthcare segment, as well as in other industries. With a strong background in science and engineering, the STERISAFE team brings together the latest findings and innovations in health technology and IoT in developing and marketing a superior and unique disinfection solution.

Located on the campus of the University of Copenhagen and in the heart of Copenhagen Science City since 2014, STERISAFE develops unique and patented technologies to perform effective, safe, and rapid automated room disinfection. The company has been successful in introducing their products to international markets and is preparing to be listed on the Copenhagen Nasdaq this autumn.

We are looking for an experienced CFO who can take an overall lead in creating and maintaining a corporate financial and governance structure of the company and be a central part of the coming preparations for the Copenhagen Nasdaq listing.

You will be part of the management group, reporting to the CEO and the board of directors in Copenhagen, and will become the point of contact for all financial, admin, and legal governance issues, ensuring compliance with the company’s financial and business reporting structures, thus creating a solid base for future strategic decisions. You will be responsible for a small team of 3 employees. Your initial tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Establishing the reporting structures, internal, external, and board
• Establishing and operating the financial organization to comply with public company requirements
• Controlling and evaluating the fundraising plans and capital structure
• Cash flow management
• Optimal setup of the finance IT system/ERP
• Providing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations
• Offering strategic advice on future objectives
• Supervising finance and admin personnel
• Participating in investor relations activities

Qualifications:

You have substantial experience from a similar position, including both strategic and hands-on financial tasks from a corporate position. You have the necessary academic skills and educational background and know from experience what it takes to be the responsible CFO in an internationally oriented organization with professional ownership and possibly a public listed company.

You have a corporate mindset and thrive in an international environment. You speak and write fluent Danish and English and are well-versed in the Uniconta/Navision ERP systems.

Employment model:

The salary consists of a fixed salary and a possible bonus scheme. It is expected that you live in the greater Copenhagen area, so STERISAFE will assist applicants in relocating to Copenhagen by finding suitable housing if necessary.
