If so, then Vestas may have the opportunity for you We are looking for a Category Lead to join our Global Service Procurement team.

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Procurement > Service Material Procurement
You will become part of a creative global procurement team covering electrical components for the Vestas Service Business globally. We pride ourselves on treating each other with respect and supporting each other to stay focused, committed, and motivated at all times. You will be reporting to the Procurement Manager of electrical components for service business in Vestas, located in Aarhus, Denmark.

Responsibilities
Your everyday activities will be characterized by high speed and the requirement to engage in, direct and prioritize between multiple critical projects. Overall expected deliverables include:

• Develop and implement strategy and roadmap for the Electricals commodity.
• Drive and coordinate cross-functional projects within Electricals.
• Global lead on annual negotiations, optimizing the supply base and our supply chain.
• Build a close relationship with key suppliers in the commodity, focusing on long-term value delivery through supplier account management and partnerships.
• Take full responsibility to oversee and coordinate Electricals E2E optimization projects.
• Work closely with the matrix regional organization on strategy execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with strategic procurement.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• Experience with handling large yearly procurement budgets.
• Advanced IT skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Package, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
• Experience in the wind industry is advantageous.
• Fluency in English.
• You are highly motivated to take initiative, promote progress and have a natural curiosity.
• A good collaborator who values formal and informal engagement with your colleagues.
• An open approach to encourage stakeholder inputs and a structured and fact-based approach to secure ideas are prioritized and implemented.
• Strong analytical skills with a natural motivation for detailed analysis.
• You are not afraid to challenge the status quo
