  1. Meet the sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  2. Solicit corporate and banquet business through action plan preparation and execution
  3. Establish quotes based on negotiated agreements pricing strategy, confirming by written contracts
  4. Participate in conventions and promotional events related to segment, within the hotel and trade related organizations
  5. Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details
  6. Work closely with the Catering & Conference Service Department to ensure all details of the contract were delivered and guests depart satisfied
  7. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required
  8. Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
  9. Follow departmental policies and procedures

Qualifications

  1. Previous local hotel market experience is required.
  2. Hotel sales experience and established contacts with corporate accounts required.
  3. Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications and/or relevant computer applications required.
  4. University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
  6. Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  7. Highly accountable and reliable.
  8. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
