What to Expect

As a Student Analyst & Developer at Vis Commodities, you will engage in a variety of tasks and responsibilities, providing a diverse and dynamic work experience. You will:

• Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT processes
• Create interactive web applications like Dash and Streamlit.
• Analyze data to uncover insights, visualize findings, and present compelling data stories.
• Develop models based on insights to inform trading decisions.
• Utilize Python and other tools to tackle data-related tasks.
• Adapt to a range of challenges typical in a startup environment, contributing to multiple aspects of our operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Open-Mindedness: Willingness to tackle tasks of any size with pride and dedication.
• Continuous Learner: Eagerness to try new things and learn on the job.
• Practical Application: Desire to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
• Soft Skills Development: Strong emphasis on improving communication skills.
• Preferred experience: Experience with Azure, Databricks, Machine Learning, MLOps and Webapps is beneficial but not required.
