What to Expect
As a Student Analyst & Developer at Vis Commodities, you will engage in a variety of tasks and responsibilities, providing a diverse and dynamic work experience. You will:
- Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT processes
- Create interactive web applications like Dash and Streamlit.
- Analyze data to uncover insights, visualize findings, and present compelling data stories.
- Develop models based on insights to inform trading decisions.
- Utilize Python and other tools to tackle data-related tasks.
- Adapt to a range of challenges typical in a startup environment, contributing to multiple aspects of our operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Open-Mindedness: Willingness to tackle tasks of any size with pride and dedication.
- Continuous Learner: Eagerness to try new things and learn on the job.
- Practical Application: Desire to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
- Soft Skills Development: Strong emphasis on improving communication skills.
- Preferred experience: Experience with Azure, Databricks, Machine Learning, MLOps and Webapps is beneficial but not required.
