About your role and the team

As the Enterprise Risk Manager at GlobalConnect , you'll lead the design, implementation, and oversight of our enterprise risk management (ERM) framework. Reporting directly to our Senior Director and Head of Legal and Regulatory in Denmark & Germany, you'll play a key role in identifying potential risks and opportunities that influence our strategic objectives.

Our Nordic Legal & Regulatory team of 11 colleagues is a collaborative, forward-thinking group committed to innovation and excellence. We're excited to welcome someone who will contribute to our proactive approach to managing risk across all levels of the organization.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing an enterprise-wide risk management strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks and emerging trends.
  • Collaborating with business units in the Nordics and Germany to integrate risk management practices into decision-making and daily operations.
  • Creating and presenting risk reports, dashboards, and actionable insights to executive leadership and the board of directors.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies while facilitating audits or external assessments as needed.
  • Establish risk policies, procedures, and metrics to identify, monitor, and manage risks effectively.
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness by organizing training sessions and workshops.

We're seeking an experienced, strategic professional who thrives on driving change and building systems that balance risk with opportunity. If you enjoy solving complex challenges and communicating effectively across all levels of an organization, you'll be a perfect fit. GlobalConnect is a complex organisation professionalising many of our functions to become future-ready and best in class, hence we are looking for someone who has the ability and will to take charge and drive the ERM agenda across the organisation with great accountability and responsibility.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Potentially a Master's degree within Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise risk management or corporate governance within a complex, international organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Potentially a background from a Consultancy or a Law firm combined with experience from an in-house ERM role where you have been part of driving change initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications such as CRM, FRM, or CERA are highly desirable.
