Cryos International, a leading international gamete bank with headquarters in Denmark, is seeking a highly motivated Nurse and Donor Coordinator to fill a position in our location in Nicosia, Cyprus. In close collaboration with a team of dedicated Cryos colleagues, the key elements within this position are:

Main Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Welcome new and existing donors
  2. Handle and review applications as per Cryos’ guidelines including informing and guiding donor applicants through the process of becoming a donor
  3. Perform health assessments and risk behaviour screenings
  4. Follow up on existing donors, enter all donor data from medical examinations and assessments in the donor database and maintain the electronic files to ensure that registrations are updated
  5. Plan and assist in performing all relevant clinical tasks, including oocyte collection procedure, physical examination and behavioural assessment, as well as blood sampling, packing and shipment of blood and urine samples to external laboratories
  6. Perform periodic quality control checks and continuous participation in maintaining and developing internal Stand Operating Procedures
  7. Awareness and adherence to donor related local, European and international legislations

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Nursing incl. Nurse State Registration
  2. Experience in IVF nursing work is an advantage
  3. Highly proficient in spoken and written Greek and English languages
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Highly service-minded and professional
  6. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an international company
  7. Must be already eligible to work in Cyprus

You are comfortable working in a team and with Cryos donor candidates of different nationalities. You pay attention to detail and comply with company standards of high quality. You can work systematically and independently once trained under the direction of the Team Lead Nurse/Donor Coordinator and have a high level of flexibility to easily adjust to the changing priorities of a growing organization.
