Do you want to play a critical role in helping our Clients unlock the value of their data and make more informed decisions that drive business growth and success?

In this role, the main purpose is to be the bridge between business, tech, and data, managing complex projects that enable our clients' CRM channels to be more relevant and personalized to their customers.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Data & Insights Project Manager in VML MAP, you'll be at the heart of driving impactful change for our clients. You'll be working with the 5D process to manage complex projects that unlock the value of their data and drive business growth. Your day will involve:

  1. Collaborating with client stakeholders: Leading brainstorming and ideation sessions to understand business challenges and define clear project requirements.
  2. Planning and scoping projects: Defining project objectives and setting goals, overseeing resource planning, budget estimations, and the creation of technical briefing documents to ensure projects are well-defined and resourced.
  3. Driving project execution: Managing project processes (JIRA, Smartsheet), proactively tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  4. Stakeholder management: Actively aligning with relevant stakeholders, providing regular status updates, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Promoting data-driven decision making: Be the advocate of a test & learn approach, supporting data analysts and insight consultants in designing tests and briefing requirements.
  6. Creating compelling presentations: Developing project presentation decks for final deliverables and presenting project results to clients.
  7. Optimizing performance: Leading monthly performance & optimization sessions with client teams, leveraging data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
  8. Managing project finances: Controlling project spending according to forecasts, updating budget status, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.

You're a highly organized and proactive individual with a can-do attitude, ready to efficiently drive projects towards clearly defined goals within planned timelines. You possess a strong understanding of performance analytics, enabling you to effectively steer resource teams and make informed decisions when facing obstacles. Furthermore, you're a skilled communicator, adept at creating clear and compelling PPT decks and one-pagers that effectively convey project descriptions, progress, results, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. You have the ability to structure complex information into concise and visually appealing formats, making it easily digestible for a variety of audiences.

For this role, we expect you to have:

An in-depth understanding of CRM strategy and technology, especially within email marketing and other owned messaging channels such as SMS, WhatsApp, PUSH notification, web, etc. Experience and knowledge within Marketing Performance is especially valuable.

  • JIRA & Confluence
  • Power BI
  • Experience with: Smartsheet, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Miro would be a plus.
