Our Northern European Customer-Facing Fraud Team is responsible for guiding and supporting our customers in the successful adoption and use of SAS. This team works closely with clients to advise and design automated fraud detection and Anti-Money Laundering systems balancing the business requirements with the implications on technology for companies of a variety of sizes.

As an intern, you might:

  1. Assist in designing and delivering data-driven fraud and compliance solutions for customers, leveraging SAS's AI platform.
  2. Analyse client data to identify new fraud patterns and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  3. Participate in customer advisory meetings, helping to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  4. Work with cross-functional teams to create impactful presentations and demos that showcase SAS's capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  1. Degree Type: Bachelor's, Master's
  2. Targeted majors: Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
  3. Proficiency in at least one programming language used for data analysis (SAS, Python, R, SQL).
  4. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  5. Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you'll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
  6. You're interested in the future of AI and embrace technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Familiarity with data visualization and programming languages.
  2. Knowledge of industry best practices.

Location

Expected to be on campus at SAS office (London, Marlow, Stockholm, Copenhagen) at least three days a week.

CareerStart Program dates: Tentatively April 1 – September 30.
