Project Controller – for international software company

Strengthening our controlling function
As a Project Controller at Systematic, you will be involved in various customer projects for which you will have overall responsibility for project finances, including revenue entries, calculating project costs, managing balance sheet accounts, and much more. You will be the primary contact and sparring partner for Project Managers regarding the financial aspects of the various projects.

You will join our controlling team of eight highly skilled colleagues ready to provide professional sparring in an international work environment.

You will play an important role in:

• Financially evaluating prospective contracts/projects, together with the Project Manager
• Project creation and reporting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) project module
• On-going project controlling in terms of cost/time registrations and invoicing
• Project forecasting and phasing
• Acting as a sparring partner for Project Managers in all financial aspects of customer projects
• Reconciling the project portfolio with the balance sheet
• Process optimisation projects

In short, you will be responsible for your project portfolio, analysing the profitability of both contracts and ongoing projects, forecasting and general project controlling.

What can you bring to the team?

• You have 2-3 years of experience in project controlling
• You are familiar with ERP and BI systems
• You are a great team player with solid communication skills
• You have a good understanding of how to communicate and advise on complex financial information, making it easy to understand for those both with and without a financial background
• You are highly motivated, responsible and analytical
• You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment

Our ERP system is Microsoft Dynamics 365; therefore, previous experience or knowledge of Dynamics 365 in project controlling is an advantage.

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
