Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer specialized in Azure Cloud Development to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on the Azure platform.

How to contribute to our vision

Cloud Design: Design complex cloud solutions on the Azure platform, considering scalability, reliability, security, and performance aspects. Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Azure Infrastructure Deployment: Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and other services, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like ARM templates, Terraform or Biceps.

Cloud Application Development: Provide expertise in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native applications and microservices using Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Service Fabric.

Cloud Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and compliance standards within Azure environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.

Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Optimize the performance and efficiency of Azure workloads through performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.

Lean Architecture and Software Development Coaching: Coach agile teams on lean architecture principles and software development practices to ensure the adoption of agile methodologies.

Cost Management: Develop cost-effective cloud solutions by optimizing resource utilization and implementing cost-saving strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.

What you need to make a difference

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in cloud architecture design and implementation, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong expertise in Azure services and solutions.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.
  • Extensive experience in software development.
  • Proven experience with leading and coaching agile teams.
  • SCRUM certified, with solid skills in managing costs on a cloud-based platform.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ideally, proven skills in ensuring delivery of high-quality software within deadlines.
  • Ideally, the candidate also has obtained Azure certifications.
