Therefore, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Piping Engineer, who will help strengthen our team.

You play a significant role in developing our business
As a Senior Piping Engineer at DIS, you will experience an independent job and a varied workday with professional challenges matching your competences. You will be involved in small and large development projects in close dialogue with our customers across many industries. You solve the tasks individually or in teams, either from the office or as a consultant at the customer and always with the possibility of knowledge sharing with your colleagues.

With this job you can look forward to being challenged both professionally and personally and we are looking for a candidate qualified and motivated to take on the following responsibilities:

  • Leading and reviewing piping design tasks (e.g. piping- and pipe support design, defining technical requirements, pipe stress calculations, isometrics, general arrangement drawings, technical descriptions, equipment selection, etc.)
  • Leading and cooperating with a team of piping engineers and support them in all aspects of the design, continuously improving quality and resource utilization.
  • Cooperating with stakeholders from other disciplines within the project team, customers and suppliers throughout all project stages.
  • Developing and implementing solutions, based on assessment of technical systems and customer specification and requirements.
  • Using good engineering principles and applying safety principles in the design of piping systems.
  • Performing on-site inspections of designed systems (piping lines, equipment etc.).

With your strong technical foundation, you make things happen
You have a relevant bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and several years of piping engineering experience from a similar position, including:

  • Experience with pipe design software (e.g. AutoCAD Plant 3D, Aveva PDMS).
  • Proficiency in working with P&IDs and other relevant piping design documentation.
  • Knowledge of stress calculations – knowledge of AutoPIPE software will be an asset.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements for piping in Pharma, Hydrogen or Life Science industry will be an asset.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
