The purpose of the role

As the Information Security Manager, you will take charge of Reshape Biotech's information security function and lead all internal and external security tasks. You'll be instrumental in ensuring that we can support our growth securely and sustainably. This role involves evaluating, implementing, and maintaining the information security measures that protect our critical assets and data.

This is what you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies and protocols.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Lead incident response initiatives and manage security breaches effectively.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with all Reshape teams to ensure robust security measures across all systems.
  • Educate and train employees on information security best practices.
  • Provide security input for commercial processes to enhance customer trust and satisfaction.
  • Ensure that our practices meet or exceed SOC2 standards and GDPR requirements, protecting customer data and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Job requirements

What we value:

  • Extensive knowledge of information security principles and practices.
  • Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 (and 27017), NIST, SOC2, and GDPR.
  • Effective communication skills for navigating topics of both high and low complexity.
  • Proven experience in incident response and security breach management.
  • Experience from (or a strong interest in) fast-growing startups.
  • Thriving in a trust-based environment with a lot of freedom.
