Postdoc in Atmospheric Chemistry on Investigating the Phase Behavior of Secondary Organic Aerosol Particles
The Aerosol and Cloud Microphysics group, part of the Center for Chemistry of Clouds (C3), at the Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University, is inviting applications for a 1-year full-time postdoc position to join our research on the physical chemistry of atmospheric aerosol particles and their impacts on cloud formation.
The position is available from 15 June 2025 or as soon as possible hereafter. The position is for 1 year, with the possibility for an extension of at least 1 additional year, based on performance and upon mutual agreement.
Application ProcedureShortlisting is used. This means that after the deadline for applications – and with the assistance from the assessment committee chairman, and the appointment committee if necessary – the head of department selects the candidates to be evaluated. All applicants will be notified whether or not their applications have been sent to an expert assessment committee for evaluation. The selected applicants will be informed about the composition of the committee, and each applicant is given the opportunity to comment on the part of the assessment that concerns him/her self. Once the recruitment process is completed, a final letter of rejection is sent to the deselected applicants.
