The position
The role of the Global Director for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) entails the crucial responsibility of developing and influencing strategies, plans, and tactics within the HEOR domain. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of HE models, economic evaluation, budget impact studies, quality-of-life studies, and indirect treatment comparisons (ITC).
- Collaboration with multiple stakeholders such as Research & Development, Medical, biostats, Commercial, and more.
- Working closely with the Market Access and Pricing team to align on priorities and strategies.
- Developing materials and collaborating to support regions and countries by creating the Global Reimbursement Dossier and ensuring that affiliates have access to HEOR data and resources.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- A good understanding of Indirect Therapeutic Comparison (ITC) methods and analysis.
- Proven experience in building and managing complex matrices in a professional setting.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
About the department
The Rare Blood Disorders Market Access and Pricing team comprises a dedicated team of 8 working to support the best global access to our assets that will help people with Haemophilia, sickle cell disease (SCD), and Thalassemia. This requires cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and working closely with senior leadership.
