Do you want to join a global leader in Private Equity and Renewable Energy Infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the place for you. We are currently looking for a motivated Analyst to join our Strategy Team in Copenhagen.

The Strategy Team

As an Analyst in the Strategy Team, you will work at the intersection between private equity, renewable energy and strategy. In close collaboration with CIP's top management, the Strategy Team is responsible for formulating and orchestrating the implementation of CIP's Corporate Strategy, enabling the company to reach EUR +100bn in raised funds by 2030 – and hence address the climate emergency at a scale that truly matters. The Corporate Strategy work entails defining e.g. which markets to enter, product/investment avenues to pursue, positioning towards investors and competitors, and how to build a scalable company.

You will collaborate with a highly experienced team of eight colleagues with background from Management Consulting, M&A, and Venture Capital, which offers a great learning opportunity. You will build a solid understanding of renewable energy, private equity and strategic creation – and provided good performance, you may receive an offer to join as a full-time Associate upon graduation.

The role

Key work areas will include:

1. Preparation of strategy-related presentation material for CIP leadership
2. Selected strategy projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders
3. Research and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
4. Data crunching and visualization of technical and financial information
5. Ad hoc support with various requests from CIP leadership

The position is part-time and based in central Copenhagen. Please note that we don't have a remote work opportunity, therefore, only students residing in Denmark will be considered.

You

The ideal candidate is currently a 3rd-year BSc student or about to start 1st-year MSc in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or any other relevant field.

We are looking for the following in a candidate:

1. High academic achievements
2. Interest in strategy/consulting, renewable energy and private equity
3. Analytical and structured, with project-oriented approach to work
4. Great communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
5. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
6. Goal-oriented attitude, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial mindset
7. Ability to work independently and in a team
