The Position
Emerging Technologies (ET) QA New Entry and Support is a department within ET QA that is growing and evolving at a fast pace. We are looking for a new colleague with solid experience within Quality Assurance for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient and who has the skills and passion for working in projects and managing stakeholders in a complex setting like acquisitions.
You will work closely with the QA track leads and ensure that the plans from a quality perspective are executed. You will be part of the management group and report directly to the QA Director, Cristina De Simoni Klitgaard.

Your main responsibilities and tasks as a QA Senior Project Manager will include:

  • Support the quality-related activities linked to the recent API site ET acquisition in the US.
  • Provide QA expertise to the project and ensure that the relevant SMEs are deployed.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relations across the organization.
  • Set the right direction and level in cooperation with the departments and area's SMEs.
  • Collaborate with and support the internal teams on API matters as required.

This position may occasionally require travel to the United States.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate high flexibility, an open-minded approach, and the ability to work effectively within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you need to have:

  • A relevant master's degree (e.g., pharmacy, engineering, business, or similar; experience from pharma as a QA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience within QA for API.
  • A proven track record of managing projects/initiatives.
  • Acquired knowledge of (Novo Nordisk) QMS for API.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive and move things forward.

It will be an advantage if you have:

  • Proficiency in Danish and English.
  • Experience with a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience and proven record with senior management communication (verbal and written).
  • A focus on high quality and the use of LEAN as a natural part of your work.

As a person, you find it easy to take responsibility, work independently, and make decisions that balance quality demands, authority expectations, and business needs.
You are flexible, innovative, and have an open mindset, well-developed interpersonal skills, and strong communication competencies, as you will work closely with many different layers in the organization. Additionally, you have good coordinating and collaboration skills when working with both colleagues and stakeholders.

About the Department
Emerging Technologies QA New Entry & Support is a department within ET QA where the oral portfolio and synthetic APIs play a significant role. We are a team of 32 skilled and engaged employees based in Denmark, working across the Maaloev and Taastrup sites.
We are responsible for overseeing the quality of processes and products, with our scope ranging from synthetic APIs to oral solid dosage forms and covering activities from new entry to life cycle management. As quality partners, we collaborate with ET API and DP Manufacturing Science and Technologies as well as the Quality Control laboratories. We also engage in cross-functional initiatives to support acquisitions, training, audits, inspections, and process governance.
