We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in streamlining our internal processes and driving project management initiatives to enhance the efficiency of our securitisation operations.

Welcome to the Securitisation team. We add value by offering Nordea’s clients advice on and execution of asset-backed financing solutions and related advisory services through the full value proposition. As an Analyst in Investment Banking & Equities, Securitisation, you’ll play a valuable role in the many parts of Securitisation and have an opportunity to join a market-leading team at the heart of some of the most complex transactions in the Nordic region.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Analyse current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  2. Assist with structuring, negotiating and documenting securitisation transactions across a variety of different asset classes.
  3. Take lead on modelling and analytics related to the current portfolio of investments and future business opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to align operations with business objectives.
  5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Assist with month, quarter, and year-end reconciliation and reporting to ensure accurate tracking of portfolio performance, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigating factors.
  7. Responsible for reporting, arranging funding, and cash management activities (including a small amount of bookkeeping) for the team’s securitisation exposures.

The role is based in Copenhagen.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you are/have:

  1. Master’s Degree in finance, economics, engineering, management or any related fields.
  2. Up to 3 years of relevant work experience; prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
  4. Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with VBA, SQL, Python, PowerBI or similar tools will be very beneficial for the position.
  5. The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  7. A strong proficiency in English and preferably one Nordic language.
