We are looking for an ambitious Data Scientist who is curious and driven by data science and mathematics. As our new Data Scientist, one of your main responsibilities will be to develop data models and analyze big data and deploy it on our Spatial Analytics platform and for bespoke customer deliverables.

We are seeking an ambitious and curious Data Scientist who is passionate about data, math, statistics and turning insights into actionable solutions. As a Data Scientist at Hi3G, you will play a key role in developing data models, analyzing large datasets, and deploying your findings within our Spatial Analytics platform, as well as in bespoke customer deliverables.

The key responsibilities:

  1. Develop data models and applications for our Mobility Analytics product portfolio.
  2. Ideate and define machine learning applications across different businesses, working closely with the data consultant, team lead, and product teams.
  3. Support and manage the creation, implementation, and evaluation of predictive analytics models.
  4. Deliver data for bespoke projects tailored to client needs.
  5. Contribute to the production of both existing and new data science projects.
  6. Share insights and ideas with the team, helping to shape strategic goals.
  7. Support, train, and educate consumers/clients.

Your Role:
Located in our Copenhagen office, you will join the local Insights team, part of the broader Business Development organization. Additionally, you will collaborate with our international data partners, where we utilize mobility data to predict movement patterns across various industries, including events, tourism, transport, and urban development.

Your profile:

  1. Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a strong background in data science (machine learning & statistics).
  2. Experience in data modeling and SQL development.
  3. Experience using statistical programming languages (Python is a must, R, MATLAB, SAS, C++).
  4. Proven experience dealing with large amounts of data.
  5. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced, customer-focused, and dynamic environment.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
