Today, we employ around 350 employees – and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for a Senior Penetration Tester who wants to make a difference in our Offensive Security Team.

Offensive Security

Our offensive team works proactively, helping organizations and companies protect themselves against cyber breaches by identifying vulnerabilities before they are exploited. Our devoted team members work closely together, utilizing their combined knowledge and experience to successfully perform assignments such as penetration tests, security assessments, and red team engagements.

The Role

In this role, you will be part of the Offensive Security Team at Truesec, granting you the opportunity to work with some of the best security specialists in the world. As a Senior Penetration Tester, you will primarily conduct advanced security reviews and penetration tests as well as lead and drive the projects with a colleague. You will be leading the assignments from start to finish, meaning that you will be in close contact with our customers for initiation meetings and lead the entire testing process, as well as leading other colleagues in your team within the projects.

The assignments are performed on a technical level where you will actively look for security vulnerabilities, mostly in enterprise environments. Typical projects can be penetration testing of mobile applications, Linux and Microsoft environments, AWS, Google, and IOT/OT or advanced red and purple teaming assignments.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you are a true expert in a specific area or technology and repeatedly mastermind other implementations with the ambition to make a difference.

Required Skills:
You should meet most of the following requirements, or be a true expert in a few.

  1. Experience in penetration testing of enterprise environments.
  2. Ability to identify vulnerabilities in both Windows and Linux systems.
  3. Experience in network-based penetration tests.
  4. Experience in credentials extraction and lateral movement.
  5. Ability to identify vulnerabilities on mobile applications.
  6. Experience in penetration testing of IOT/OT systems.
  7. Ability to identify vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
  8. Ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.

Bonus Skills:

  1. Sysadmin experience.
  2. Ability to understand arbitrary programming language.
  3. Full proficiency in at least one programming language.
  4. Experience of code assisted/code review-based penetration testing.
  5. Relevant security related certifications.

As a senior penetration tester, we believe that you actively stay up to date with the latest technologies or maybe you are active in several forums or networks within offensive security. At Truesec, we believe in creating awareness and we continuously attend events as guests or even key note speakers.

Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Danish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Danish work permit.
