GL/AR Accountant

You will be part of a small team consisting of two close colleagues and at the same time be part of a larger finance department placed in Germany and the US. It is crucial for us that you are team-oriented, approachable, and cooperative. Your place of work will be Holte in North Seeland.

• Maintain GL and A/R Subledger incl. issuing invoices, manage dunning process
• Support of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with DK-GAAP/ US GAAP including intercompany reconciliation
• Support financial variance analysis and weekly reporting requirements
• Responsibility for accounting of a smaller EU subsidiary for the group
• Support in the introduction of compliance processes and frameworks

• Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial statement with minimum 2 years accounting experience
• Professional experience in supporting financial statement preparation in an international environment as well as support in the preparation of individual financial statements
• CPA or Danish equivalent is desired.
• Problem-solving capability: hands-on and exercises sound judgment and support decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• Fluent Danish and English
• Netsuite know-how is a plus, but not a must

Alternatively, you just finished your bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and are eager to learn and develop through on-the-job training.
