Your Responsibilities for Payroll Specialist:
- Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing using SAP Payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.
- Handle complex payroll queries and issues, providing expert solutions.
- Maintain and update payroll-related data in SAP.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Conduct payroll audits and implement process improvements.
- Stay current with payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
- Train and support junior payroll staff.
- System processing of Payroll with control checks and validation.
- Preparation and delivery of reports.
- Query resolution and problem-solving for all aspects of payroll.
- Responsible for managing client service requests via the C4C system and addressing inquiries by phone.
- Maintaining archive.
- Keeping up to date with current legislation changes.
Your Responsibilities for Payroll Accounting Specialist:
- Process payroll accounting for employees, ensuring the accuracy of all payments, tax calculations, and deductions.
- Resolve discrepancies related to payroll, taxes, balances, and vacation accounts.
- Monitor the processing of bank payments and all payroll-related transactions.
- Assist in managing tax corrections and other payroll-related adjustments.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, including payroll-related financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws, standards, and internal regulations.
- Assist with the implementation of changes resulting from new legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll and financial data.
Experience and Education:
- At least 3 years of payroll accounting experience or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax reconciliation, and relevant regulations.
- Experience with payroll/accounting software such as SAP is a plus.
- Professional working proficiency in Danish and English.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- High level of accuracy and numeracy, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
