We are busy and for our fantastic production team, we are looking for an NPI and Process Engineer to join as soon as possible. Today, the team consists of a Team Leader, thirteen operators, and five support Engineers/Technicians. You will report directly to the Site Manager on a daily basis, and you will manage your daily tasks according to the business needs.
Thales DIS, Identity & Biometric Solutions is a personalization center located in Ballerup. We are specialized in personalizing various documents and cards for the Danish population and for this purpose have a modern and up-to-date production infrastructure, which you will be trained to maintain and administrate.
Your contribution for a better world will be to contribute to delivering banking, transport, and governmental products in the aim of building a future we can all trust.
Your responsibilities:
- Support and monitor all data processing activities which include administration, analysis, and reporting of file failures.
- Communicate effectively any product or data processing issues at the daily production briefings.
- First Line incident support for the PSC Production Team for any Personalization, Work stream, and Infrastructure issues.
- Creation of customer card carrier and PIN templates using development applications like PRES Designer.
- Industrialization of new products and technologies, ensuring the best productivity goals can be achieved.
- Coordinate projects for the implementation and qualifications for new products or new processes, contribute to projects to improve our infrastructure.
- Document your working activities.
- Manage IT technical systems and database (internal production systems) by data input, their update, and maintenance.
- Build technical and quality documents aligned with company standards and practices.
Our requirements:
- You should have a technical degree (or be at least a student in the last years).
- You should have also a practical knowledge of operations and manufacturing processes.
- Your experience as an NPI or Process engineer or in the area of production support would be necessary for your smooth onboarding.
- Experience in managing projects in the production environment would be a great advantage.
- To succeed you need to be proactive, able to work independently, and know how to efficiently organize your work and prioritize tasks.
- Good knowledge of English is a must as a major part of your work time will be spent on communication with customers, corporate teams, and external suppliers.
- You need to know the secrets of MS Office, especially Excel.
- If you additionally know any ERP system (like Oracle) and software for product data management (PDM), it will be even better.
- Production is a very dynamic environment, so you need to be flexible, able to work under pressure and cope with stress effectively.

- You will cooperate with various people, so you must have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; a bit of expertise in negotiations and influencing others would also be helpful.
