Business Intelligence Student Assistant

Excellent opportunity for the Finance, Engineering or Business Analytics student wanting to gain experience in Business Intelligence & Analytics.

Do you have a strong analytical and business-oriented mindset? Do you enjoy coding, processing data and conceptualizing them into analytical reports? Then you might be our new Business Intelligence Student Assistant.

You will play an important role in: MAN Finance & Controlling is looking for a high-performing and eager-to-grow individual to support our continuous journey in improving financial and business insights through our data.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, optimizing, and maintaining analytical reports in Power BI.
• Cleaning and structuring raw data to improve analytical reports.
• Providing in-depth analysis of a broad range of business activities.
• Creating and supporting the business with ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.
• Providing technical support on existing applications.

We imagine that you:

• Are currently an enrolled student at a business school or university within the field of Finance, Engineering or Business Analytics. Ideally, you have just started your Master's Degree.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Have great communication and presentation skills in English.
• Thrive by working independently as well as in teams.
• Have some programming experience, e.g., Python, C#, or similar, which will be considered a plus.
• Are comfortable with Excel (e.g., filters, pivot tables, lookup formulas, index/match).
• Ideally have knowledge in SQL language and relational databases.
• Ideally have experience in data visualization in Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Can work approx. 15 hours a week (flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule).
