You will work in a fast-moving technical environment, using latest technologies available on the market (Cloud, data management, AI, IIOT). In your day-to-day, you will closely collaborate with highly talented and dedicated teams of the Oil & Gas world: both senior IT professionals and specialists of Business disciplines.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the existing IS architecture framework: used by the different IT specialists of the affiliate to manage or create IS solutions supporting Business activities. Ensure that the information contained in the IT referentials of this architecture framework is accurate and kept up to date. Ensure promotion and develop a wider usage of this framework.
  • Oversee the design of IT solutions: define high-level IS architecture scenarios for new IT projects, aligned with the overall architecture framework and best practices. When required: obtain the validation from HQ IT architecture committees before the delivery of an IT project can start.
  • Collaborate actively with various stakeholders: IT Business Analysts and Business representatives to formalize the description of their business processes/activities (as-is and to-be); HQ and local IT architects to define ad-hoc IS architecture for new IS solutions; understand and challenge off-the-shelf solutions proposed by vendors, with the aim to validate their capabilities of integration in the affiliate IS ecosystem.
  • Ensure that the IT landscape of the affiliate is optimized for technical integrity, scalability, security, compliance and costs: Continuously analyze and identify weaknesses in the IS landscape, including legacy software or architecture; propose remediation plans.
  • Anticipate consistency of future IT evolutions through a multi-year perspective: taking into account the various roadmaps (local IT, Business, HQ IT) that will impact the IT landscape.

Who we are looking for

  • Background: Master in IT, engineering or similar, with proven professional experience in IT from a senior position. A practical knowledge of main O&G Business activities is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong practical knowledge of main IS/IT specialties (IS architecture, software development, infrastructure, ITIL processes, project management), past experience in enterprise IS architecture frameworks.
  • Soft skills: natural curiosity, synthetic thinking, excellent communicator, capability to vulgarize complex subjects, result-oriented mindset, ability to challenge ways of working and propose alternatives, capability to manage multiple priorities, ability to work in a cross-functional and international team environment.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, understanding Danish and French is a plus.
