JOB TITLE - Senior Platform Product Owner

LOCATION - Copenhagen, Denmark (HYBRID ROLE)

Maersk are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Product Owner to drive the product strategy and execution plan for our Order Handling domain.

As a Senior Platform Product Owner, you will be part of the Business Enabling Platforms team responsible for creating and delivering modern order handling domain that allow both customers and agents to create, modify and manage bookings for Maersk products.

Our goal is to simplify the customer experience, by providing self-service and intuitive journeys. For our internal teams we are here to enable them to focus on value add activities by automating tasks and creating integrated experiences.

About the role –

You will join a talented team that is passionate about prioritising the needs of our customers (internal and external), while delivering value for the business.

The ideal candidate is motivated by complex problems while driving for simplicity and scale within their solutions.

In this role, you will:

1. Be responsible for the implementation of our strategic priorities, ensuring that all product teams involved are prioritising and delivering to achieve that goal.
2. Manage the roadmap and value realisation for one or more multi-disciplinary teams to iteratively deliver customer and business outcomes.
3. Set measurable goals for your product, that roll up into our portfolio success measures and value drivers. Report against these monthly to demonstrate progress against stated benefits.
4. Develop an expert understanding of customers' needs and promote these in the delivery of your products, advocating the value of user-centred design to the wider business.
5. Coordinate product development with other product teams to minimise risks and manage dependencies.
6. Engage with users, customers and stakeholders through a range of channels to encourage awareness and use of your product.
7. Be involved in a range of programme management activities, in support of the head of product, and play an instrumental role in the Maersk.com product team sharing your learning and celebrating progress.

6. Dedicated to understanding user needs and eager to learn about the diverse functions of the business, using your knowledge to make informed product decisions.
7. Motivated to develop product principles, practices, and processes to allow teams to collaboratively build the right thing, the right way.
