We are seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant to join our growing consultancy team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for driving both strategic development and hands-on execution of marketing strategies that deliver measurable business growth for our clients. The role combines strategic leadership, client development, and product innovation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for clients in a range of industries. Both on an overall level, and on strategically important marketing development projects.
  2. Strategic client leadership owning the overall relationship and driving the agenda.
  3. Develop and implement client growth plans.
  4. Drive development and deployment of new product areas to meet current and anticipated client needs.
  5. Take a lead role in product development and participate in relevant new business projects.
  6. Work with clients to define measurement frameworks and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that media, campaign, and marketing are aligned with business goals.
  7. Be an active thought leader within your subject matter.
  8. Position and sell strategic projects across our client portfolio.
  9. Full responsibility for strategic resource planning and project management across key client portfolios.
  10. Lead development and execution of marketing strategies across industries.
  11. Provide strategic leadership and knowledge sharing both internally and with clients.
Requirements:
  1. Proven track record of driving business growth through marketing initiatives.
  2. Strong specialist expertise in marketing strategy and digital transformation.
  3. Experience leading and developing client relationships at senior level.
  4. Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable marketing strategies.
  5. Communicate to clients across all levels, able to unpack complex information in a clear and digestible manner.
  6. Ability to deliver actionable next steps for downstream communications briefs.
  7. Ability to create roadmaps of activity for upstream business needs.
  8. General ability to organize and direct different skill sets with a clear and actionable objective.
  9. Impact our client’s business as well as drive Wavemaker’s internal strategic ambition of becoming a business growth-focused, marketing services consultancy.
  10. Number of years’ experience isn’t key, but on average we assume +8 years.
Personal qualifications:

The most important is that you have fun solving client challenges, are prepared to look beyond set frameworks and are motivated to take things beyond a PowerPoint presentation. You love going down rabbit holes and are just as interested in people as you are in how businesses work.
